On March 26th, as an important event of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University's Global Partners Week, a delegation from Saint Petersburg State Aerospace University (Russia), led by Vice Rector Nikolai Maiorov and Sergei Solenyi, visited our institute. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on scientific research collaboration and educational innovation.

First, the Russian delegation was guided by Vice Dean Song Shaojing and other institute members to visit the Houji Intelligent Computing Synergy Innovation Platform, gaining a thorough understanding of our university's achievements and research capabilities in intelligent science and technology. Subsequently, a cooperative exchange meeting was held in Room 916, Building 28, attended by Deputy Director Qu Lili from the International Exchange Office, Party Secretary Zhao Limin, Vice Dean Song Shaojing, Director Du Yi of the Intelligent Science Department, Director Chen Lin of the Computer Science Department, Deputy Director Zhang Hua of the Information and Communication Department, and Wu Yuxin from the School of Intelligent Control.

During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective institutions and discussed collaborative opportunities, including joint research project applications, co-building laboratories, co-supervising doctoral students, and student exchange programs. Strong mutual interest in collaboration was expressed, with plans to advance these initiatives through coordinated efforts between the international cooperation offices and relevant schools of both universities.

This visit further strengthened the partnership between the two institutions, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations in establishing international research platforms, promoting industry-academia-research integration, and fostering student exchanges.
