On June 1, Prof. Shen Wenfeng of SSPU was invited to attend the Heterogeneous Intelligent Arithmetic Technology Closed-Door Seminar and gave a keynote report Integration Construction of HPC Center, Teaching and Research. In the report, Mr. Shen shared his 27 years of history and experience in the integrated construction of HPC center, teaching and scientific research, introduced the progress and achievements of the construction of SSPU AI-Lab Center, said that the construction of the intelligent computing center and the scientific research itself should be one and the same, which is crucial for cultivating talents with innovation and practical ability. He also expressed his intention to communicate and cooperate with the participating experts.

This closed-door symposium on heterogeneous intelligent computing technology was organized by Shanghai Computer Society (SCS) and undertaken by Shanghai High Performance Computing Committee (SHPC) and Dawning of China Academy of Sciences (DSS). More than 20 experts in the field of intelligent computing from various universities and research institutes gathered to discuss the important role of heterogeneous intelligent computing technology in promoting scientific and technological innovation and the development of education. At the seminar, Mr. Lin Xinhua, Director of Shanghai Higher Education Commission and Deputy Director of Network Information Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University, shared the concept of JiaoWeCalc university-level computing platform construction, scientific research and teaching service mode. Mr. Hu Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of Intelligent Computing Industry Division of Dawning Technology Corporation of China (Dawning), introduced the development of domestic AI acceleration card, software ecosystem and typical applications in the industry around the topic of Domestic Heterogeneous Arithmetic Chassis, Constructing Full-Stack AI Capability. Mr. Li Huimin, Deputy Director of Network Information Center of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), shared USTC Supercomputing Center Platform and Data Center Room Construction. Shi Jing, Manager of Storage Operation Department of Dawning Storage of China Science and Technology University, focused on Dawning Storage's solutions and industry application practice cases in AI For Science and AI big model scenarios.

The experts agreed that the development of heterogeneous intelligent arithmetic requires the joint efforts of all parties in industry, academia, research and utilization.
