SSPU AI Lab is the first large-scale computing platform integrating high-performance computing and artificial intelligence established by the university, and it is one of the important contents of the construction of emerging cross disciplines of artificial intelligence in the 14th Five-Year Plan of the university. The first phase of the platform has been deployed and will be put into trial operation soon. As the construction and management force of the platform, the School of Computing and Information Technology (SIIT) has organized the Thick Technology Forum, which is dedicated to , organizing off-campus enterprises and institutions, on-campus teachers and students, and focusing on user training, academic exchanges, project development and other aspects of cooperation and exchange. Through this platform, researchers can share experiences and discuss problems together to promote scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation.
On the afternoon of Saturday, May 18, the School of Accounting and Information Technology held the first phase of Houyi Forum online with the theme of User Training of Houyi Smart Computing Co-innovation Platform. Nearly one hundred teachers and students from the teams of energy materials, resources and environment, information center, mathematics, science and statistics, library and other second-level departments participated in the forum, which was presided over by Mr. Shen Wenfeng.
First, Prof. Zhang Bofeng, Dean of the School of Computing and Information Technology, introduced the construction process of SSPU AI Lab and its great significance to the scientific research of our university. Then, Prof. Shen Wenfeng introduced the features and considerations of the system. Then, Dawning's expert team introduced the functional features of the arithmetic platform software Gridview system, its operation process and its advantages in scientific research and industrial applications, and through case demonstrations and interactive exchanges, the participants had a more in-depth understanding. During the question and answer session, teachers put forward their questions and doubts, and the expert team patiently answered and clarified them.
The organization of the first issue of HouTech Forum not only improves user experience and satisfaction, but also further promotes the development of SSPU AI Lab. In the future, HouTechnology Forum will continue to organize training and communication activities, provide more high-quality and efficient services and support for research workers, and jointly promote the development of scientific and technological innovation and talent cultivation.
